| Comments: | According to official documents Al-Rikabi pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 08/28/2003 to one count of Indecent Liberties and one count of Indecent Exposure. He was sentenced to 20 months in prison for the Indecent Liberties charge and 90 days for the Indecent Exposure to be served concurrent. These incidents occurred when Al-Rikabi sexually offended against customers while he was employed as a taxi driver. He went by the name of Tom. He was charged with eight counts with separate victims involving sexual offenses. However six counts were eventually dropped for a variety of reasons. In some cases Al-Rikabi was known to the victims because he had driven them previously and they felt comfortable around him to the point of sitting in the front seat. In other cases the victims were strangers to him. He was found non-ameanable to sex offender treatment, while in prison, due to his denial of the offenses. Al-Rikabi is no longer on supervision. |
