submitted by: TAYLOR, MATTHEW 0400 (AR11119521) DID UNLAWFULLY TAKE FROM THE PERSON OR CUSTODY OF THE VICTIMS, CERTAIN PROPERTY OF VALUE, TO WIT: MONEY AND CIGARETTES WITH THE INTENT TO TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE THE VICTIM OF A RIGHT TO THE SAID PROPERTY OR A BENEFIT THEREOF BY FORCE, VIOLENCE, ASSAULT OR PUTTING THE SAID VICTIM IN FEAR, AND IN THE COURSE THEREOF THERE WAS CARRIED A FIREARM TO WIT: A CHROME HANDGUN, SAID FIREARM BEING IN THE POSSESSION OF THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA'S STATE STATUTE 812.13(2)(A). ON 012811 AT APPROXIMATELY 1906 HOURS, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR ANTHONY CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR ABELARDO COIMBRE, ENTERED THE INVERNESS LIQUOR STORE LOCATED AT 3177 EAST GULF TO LAKE HIGHWAY IN INVERNESS. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WERE ARMED WITH CHROME HANDGUNS AND ORDERED THE CLERK AND ANOTHER STORE EMPLOYEE to the FLOOR AT GUNPOINT. the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WAS WEARING A BLACK JACKET, A KNIT CAP WITH A BLACK STRIPE, BLUE JEANS AND GLOVES. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WAS WEARING A GREEN JACKET, A RED KNIT CAP WITH WHITE STRIPES AND LIGHT COLORED PANTS. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WENT BEHIND THE COUNTER AND REMOVED MONEY AND CIGARETTES WHILE THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, CONTINUED TO DIRECT THE EMPLOYEE AND CLERK TO REMAIN ON THE FLOOR WHILE the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, OBTAINED MONEY AND CIGARETTES. WHILE EXITING THE STORE, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, TOOK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AS WELL. THEY EXITED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE, ENTERED A 4-DOOR LIGHT COLORED VEHICLE AND FLED THE SCENE. THIS WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE NUMBER 11011066. ON 021611 AT APPROXIMATELY 1854 HOURS, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, ENTERED BOB'S LIQUOR LOCATED AT 6601 WEST GULF TO LAKE HIGHWAY IN CRYSTAL RIVER. DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, AND CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WERE ARMED WITH CHROME HANDGUNS AND THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, IMMEDIATELY APPROACHED THE CLERK AND ORDERED HIM TO THE FLOOR AT GUNPOINT. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, THEN WENT AROUND THE COUNTER AND REMOVED MONEY AND CIGARETTES. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, IN THIS CASE WORE A GREEN PULLOVER HOODIE WITH A WHITE STRIPE. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WORE A GREY HOODIE WITH A BLACK KNIT CAP. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, AND CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WERE BOTH WEARING GLOVES. IN THIS CASE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, REMOVED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE EXITING THE STORE. THEY FLED ACROSS HIGHWAY 44 ENTERED A VEHICLE AND FLED EASTBOUND FROM THAT LOCATION. THIS WILL BE RELATED TO CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE NUMBER 11020612. ON 022111 DUE TO PHOTOGRAPHS AND INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE PREVIOUS THREE ROBBERIES, ROBBERY DETAIL WAS ESTABLISHED IN ATTEMPTS TO LOCATE THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE. WHILE WORKING THE ROBBERY DETAIL, ON 022311 AT APPROXIMATELY 2157 HOURS, the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, ENTERED THE EXPRESS LANE FOOD STORE LOCATED AT 7870 S FLORIDA AVENUE IN FLORAL CITY. BOTH the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, ENTERED the STORE ARMED WITH CHROME HANDGUNS. the DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WAS WEARING A GREY PULLOVER HOODIE WITH A BLACK KNIT CAP, LIGHT COLORED BLUE JEANS, BLACK GLOVES and A WHITE BANDANA AROUND HIS FACE. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WAS WEARING HIS GREEN WITH A WHITE STRIPE HOODIE, A MASK, BLACK GLOVES AND DARK JEANS. AS THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, IMMEDIATELY ENTERED THE STORE AND APPROACHED THE CLERK ORDERING HER TO OPEN THE SAFE. AFTER SHE EXPLAINED TO THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, THAT ONLY THE MANAGER COULD OPEN THE SAFE, HE THEN ORDERED HER TO OPEN THE CASH REGISTER. DURING THIS PROCESS, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, HAD COME AROUND THE BACK OF THE COUNTER and ONCE THE CASH REGISTER WAS OPEN, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, BEGAN TAKING THE MONEY AND SHOVING IT INTO HIS BACK PACK ALONG WITH CARTONS AND PACKS OF CIGARETTES. the DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, USHERED THE CLERK TO the BATHROOM AND ORDERED HER TO STAY INSIDE. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, PRIOR TO EXITING GRABBED A FLAMINGO BINGO LOTTERY TICKET AND THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, GRABBED TWO LARGE CANS which APPEARED TO BE BEER. BOTH the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, FLED OUT THE FRONT DOOR AND TO THE NORTH. THIS IS RELATED TO CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE NUMBER 11020891. ON 022511 AT APPROXIMATELY 2159 HOURS, WHILE ON SURVEILLANCE DUE TO THE ROBBERY DETAIL, SERGEANT FERRARA OBSERVED A SILVER 4-DOOR KIA PULL OFF the SIDE OF THE STREET ON ARBOR. HE OBSERVED the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, PUT ON CLOTHING WHILE SITTING ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET IN ATTEMPTS TO CONCEAL THEIR IDENTITY. the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, and DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, EXITED THE VEHICLE BOTH CARRYING BACK PACKS. the CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WAS WEARING HIS GREEN PULLOVER HOODIE WITH THE WHITE STRIPE, BLACK GLOVES, A MASK AND DARK JEANS. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WAS WEARING A LIGHT COLORED HOODIE, JEANS, HAT AND GLOVES. BOTH ENTERED THE BP STORE LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF HIGHWAY 581 AND ARBOR WITH CHROME HANDGUNS. CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, ENTERED THE BP ARMED WITH CHROME HANDGUNS. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, APPROACHES THE CLERK AND ORDERS HER TO THE GROUND AND GOES AROUND THE COUNTER. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, APPROACHES ANOTHER CLERK AND ORDERS HIM TOWARDS the BATHROOMS, WHICH WERE LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUSINESS. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, HAS the OTHER CLERK LIE ON THE GROUND AND HE ATTEMPTED TO TIE his HANDS WITH A PHONE CHARGER CORD. DURING THIS TIME, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, TAKES MONEY AND CIGARETTES AND PUTS THEM IN A DUFFLE BAG. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, LEFT THE STORE, THEY FLED ON FOOT EASTERLY TO THEIR VEHICLE WHICH WAS PARKED ON ARBOR AND BEGAN TO FLEE EASTBOUND. BEING THAT UNITS WERE IN THE AREA, DEPUTIES ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, BY ACTIVATING THEIR LIGHTS AND SIRENS AND AT THAT TIME THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, FLED NORTHBOUND ON ALPINE STREET ON ARBOR AND BEGAN TAKING NUMEROUS BACK ROADS. DURING THE PROCESS OF FLEEING FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, WAS RUNNING THROUGH STOP SIGNS, CONTINUOUSLY CHANGING DIRECTIONS AND AT ONE POINT THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, BEGAN THROWING money, CLOTHES AND A GUN OUT THE WINDOW WHICH WERE LATER RETRIEVED BY DEPUTIES. AT THE INTERSECTION OF ADELPHIA and S HIGHLANDS AVENUE, THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, ATTEMPTED TO TURN WEST ONTO ADELPHIA, HOWEVER, LEFT THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A TREE. the DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, EXITED THE VEHICLE AND BEGAN RUNNING NORTHWARD WHERE HE WAS SUBSEQUENTLY TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY DEPUTIES. AS THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, ATTEMPTED TO EXIT THE VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE, I IMMEDIATELY ORDERED HIM TO THE GROUND BY GUNPOINT WHICH HE COMPLIED. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WERE HANDCUFFED, BEHIND THEIR BACKS, (DOUBLE LOCKED) AND SECURED IN THE REAR OF PATROL VEHICLES. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, COMPLAINED OF AN INJURED ARM AT WHICH TIME EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES RESPONDED, TREATED AND RELEASED THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE. THE CO-DEFENDANT, MR CALDERON, AND DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING. ONCE AT THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY, I ADVISED THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WHAT HE WAS BEING CHARGED WITH AND ASKED IF HE WISHED TO SPEAK WITH ME ON THIS MATTER. the DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, STATED "OFF THE RECORD" AND ADVISED THAT HE HAD BEEN TRYING TO DO GOOD AND THAT HE would ADMIT TO THE ROBBERIES. I ASKED HIM AGAIN IF HE WANTED TO TALK REGARDING THIS MATTER, TO WHICH HE STATED YES. UPON READING HIM MIRANDA, VIA PREPRINTED AGENCY CARD, HE STATED HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND. WHEN I BEGAN EXPLAINING MIRANDA again LINE BY LINE, WHEN I GOT TO THE POINT WHERE HE HAS A RIGHT TO TALK TO A LAWYER AND HAVE HIM PRESENT WITH HIM WHILE BEING PRESENT, HE STATED HE WANTED THAT. THE INTERVIEW WAS DISCONTINUED. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WAS RETURNED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. THE DEFENDANT, MR COIMBRE, WAS CHARGED WITH 4 COUNTS OF ARMED ROBBERY WITH BOND SET AT A TOTAL OF $200,000.00, PER THE BOND SCHEDULE.
