| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to 151 ACL Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with the elderly complainant who advised that her daughter, Mary Atherton-Wright, came over to visit and would not leave and was destroying her house. Contact was made with Mary and she was told by officers to leave or she would be arrested. She refused to comply. Mary was then told to stand up because she was under arrest. She refused and a struggle between her and the officers ensued. She was then handcuffed and placed into the rear of a patrol car. She was charged with resisting an officer without violence and trespass after warning. She is being held at the Hernando County Jail on $1,000.00 bond. No one was injured during the incident. |
