| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Megard was found guilty by jury trial on 04/05/1995 in Snohomish County Superior Court of two counts of Rape of a Child in the First Degree. He was sentenced to 216 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Megard sexually assaulting the known female victim from her age of four until she was seven years old. On 12/20/1985 Megard pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court to one count of Third Degree Statutory Rape. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Megard sexually assaulting the known 14 year old female victim. Megard has not participated in any sex offender treatment while in custody. Megard is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Marysville Field Unit (360)658-2150 for a period of 36 months and has the following conditions: Do not have direct or indirect contact with any victim. Maintain lawful employment and provide proof of employment to DOC staff as directed Report to and be available for contact with assigned community corrections officer as directed Shall not possess or consume controlled substances unless he has a legally issued prescription. Shall not purchase, own, or have in his possession or under his control any firearm or deadly weapon. Shall reside at a location and under living arrangements as approved by CCO. |
