| Comments: | TAYLOR, Andre J. sex offender status stems from two convictions for rape in the third degree in Pierce County in 1996. According to official documents, Taylor showed up at the apartment of a known female and told her he needed a place to stay. She allowed him to stay. As she walked to her room to retire for the evening, Taylor followed her. She told Taylor to leave but he pulled out a gun and held it to her head. The victim struggled with Taylor and he hit her on the head three times with the gun. He then forced her to engage in sexual intercourse. Taylor continued to terrorize and stalk the victim after the rape. This incident resulted in Count I. Count II stems from an incident that occurred in 1995. Taylor went to the residence of a known 18-year-old female and woke her up. She invited Taylor inside and returned to bed. Taylor sat on the edge of the bed while they conversed. Taylor made advances toward the victim and she told him to stop. Taylor pushed the victim down on the bed and threatened to shoot her if she didn't shut up. He proceeded to pull off her nightgown and sexually assaulted her. Taylor's other convictions include two burglaries and theft. One of the burglaries involved the victim in Count I. He returned to her home and was in the process of taking items when the police interrupted him. He has no other known sex offense history. Taylor denied raping his victims and was deemed non-amenable for treatment at the Sex Offender Treatment Program. He was placed in the Level III notification category and is considered a high risk to re-offend. |
