| Comments: | According to official documents in 1998 Andrew Evich pled guilty to a federal indictment in King County, charging him with Receiving Child Pornography. The indictment was the result of a sting operation run by US Customs out of Hong Kong. Evich was sentenced to five years in prison to be followed by five years of supervised release. Evich was released on July 31, 2002, after serving approximately four years of his sentence. In 1974 Evich was convicted of Second Degree Murder in Whatcom County Superior Court. His victim was a 6 year old male. Court documents indicate that Evich had sexual contact with his victim. Evich was paroled in 1980 and remained on parole until it was revoked in 1985 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor; having sexual contact with a 15 year old male; and narcotics violations. Evich remained in prison until January 1992. Following his release, DOC actively supervised Evich until January 1995. Evich resided in the community until his 1998 conviction. Evich is no longer of supervision. |
