| Narrative: | The Brooksville Police Department's patrol division reports that units responded to the Cheapest Wash in Town laundromat in reference a theft. Upon arrival units found that the change machine had been ripped off the wall and removed from the business. There was also damage to a vending machine which appeared that someone was attempting to make entry into the bill storage area. While on scene units were advised that someone was banging on something metal behind the plaza. Units responded to the noise and found Anthony Culbertson standing over the change machine with two crowbars next to him. Several witnesses had seen Culbertson loitering around the laundromat before the coin machine was discovered missing. Culbertson was taken into custody for grand theft, two counts of criminal mischief, and damaging a coin operated machine. Culbertson was held at the Hernando County Jail under a $2750.00 total bond. |
