| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a green Ford SUV for an equipment violation in the area of N. Broad Street and Oakwood Drive. The officer made contact with the driver, Antwand Howard, and received consent to search the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 2.2 grams of marijuana and a small bag containing synthetic marijuana. Certain chemicals in synthetic marijuana are illegal and constitute a felony in the state of Florida. Howard was arrested for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is being held on $500.00 bond. The synthetic marijuana will be sent to FDLE for testing and charges are pending. |
