Probable cause affidavit: SUBMITTED BY: BONURA, MATTHEW 0334 (AR10114101) DID UNLAWFULLY AND KNOWINGLY OBTAIN, USE OR ENDEAVOR TO OBTAIN OR USE THE PROPERTY OF THE VICTIM, TO-WIT: BASEBALL CARDS AIR CONDITIONING UNIT, SEX TOYS, TRAIN SET AND VIDEO TAPES, OF THE VALUE OF TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS($10,000.00) OR MORE, BUT LESS THAN TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00), TO WITH THE INTENT TO EITHER TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE THE VICTIM OF A RIGHT TO THE PROPERTY OR A BENEFIT THEREOF, OR DID APPROPRIATE THE SAID PROPERTY TO HIS OWN USE OR THE USE OF ANY PERSON NOT ENTITLED THERETO, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATUTES 812.014(2)(C)(2). ON 033110 AT APPROXIMATELY 1530 HOURS, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE DEFENDANT, MR AARON BURNS, 7311 WEST VILLAGE DRIVE, IN HOMOSASSA, IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY THAT HAD OCCURRED AT 7282 WEST VILLAGE DRIVE, IN HOMOSASSA. UPON MAKING CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT I INFORMED HIM THAT I WAS AT HIS RESIDENCE TO SPEAK WITH HIM IN REGARDS TO A BURGLARY. I INFORMED THE DEFENDANT THAT POSSIBLY A SUBJECT FROM SEVENTH INNING STRETCH HAD ADVISED THAT SOMEONE OF HIS DESCRIPTION WAS POSSIBLY IN HIS STORE ATTEMPTING TO SELL SOME STOLEN BASEBALL CARDS. I ASKED THE DEFENDANT IF HE MAY HAVE WENT NEXT DOOR TO HIS NEIGHBOR'S RESIDENCE AND TOOK THEIR BELONGINGS. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED HE THOUGHT THEY HAD MOVED OUT OF THE RESIDENCE. I INFORMED THE DEFENDANT THAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET THE VICTIM BELONGINGS BACK TO THEM. AT THAT TIME, THE DEFENDANT WENT INTO HIS RESIDENCE AND RETRIEVED MOST OF THE VICTIM'S PROPERTY. AT THAT TIME I INFORMED THE DEFENDANT THAT I WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO COMPLETE A WRITTEN STATEMENT ABOUT WHAT HAD TRANSPIRED AT 7282 WEST VILLAGE DRIVE. I INFORMED THE DEFENDANT THAT DUE TO HIM ENTERING THE RESIDENCE WITHOUT PERMISSION I WOULD NEED TO READ HIM HIS MIRANDA RIGHTS VIA PRE PRINTED CARD. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED HE DID UNDERSTAND HIS RIGHTS AND HE DID WISH TO SPEAK WITH ME. AT THAT TIME I PROVIDED THE DEFENDANT WITH A WRITTEN STATEMENT. THE DEFENDANT WROTE ON THE STATEMENT "I AARON BURNS WENT TO 7282 WEST VILLAGE DRIVE AND BROKE IN. STOLE SOME BASEBALL CARDS AND OTHER STUFF AND NUDE PICS. I AARON BURNS AM VERY SORRY THAT I DID THAT TO YOU GUYS." AT THAT TIME I COLLECTED THE DEFENDANT'S STATEMENT AND INFORMED HIM THAT I WOULD NOT BE ARRESTING HIM AND NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH THE VICTIM TO SEE IF THEY WANTED TO PRESS CHARGES. ON 040110 AT APPROXIMATELY 1000 HOURS, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM AND RETURNED SOME OF THEIR PERSONAL BELONGINGS THAT WERE GIVEN TO ME BY THE DEFENDANT. THE VICTIM WENT THROUGH THEIR BELONGINGS AND ADVISED THEY WERE STILL MISSING PROPERTY AND DID WANT TO PRESS CHARGES. I MADE CONTACT WITH DETECTIVE FARKAS AND DEPUTY HOLLOWAY WHO RESPONDED OUT TO THE DEFENDANT RESIDENCE AND PLACED THE DEFENDANT UNDER ARREST. WHILE AT THE RESIDENCE, DETECTIVE FARKAS AND DEPUTY HOLLOWAY WERE ABLE TO RETRIEVE MORE OF THE STOLEN PROPERTY. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. UPON ARRIVAL MYSELF AND DETECTIVE FARKAS CONDUCTED A DIGITALLY RECORDED INTERVIEW. PRIOR TO THE INTERVIEW TAKING PLACE THE DEFENDANT WAS READ HIS MIRANDA RIGHTS VIA PRE PRINTED CARD. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED THAT HE DID WISH TO SPEAK WITH US AND DID UNDERSTAND HIS RIGHTS. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED THAT HE AND HIS UNCLE, THE CO-DEFENDANT IN THIS CASE, ENTERED THE UNLOCKED BACK DOOR TO 7282 WEST VILLAGE DRIVE. HE STATED THAT HE WENT IN AND REMOVED PROPERTY THAT DID NOT BELONG TO HIM AND STORED THE PROPERTY AT HIS RESIDENCE AT 7311 WET VILLAGE DRIVE. THE DEFENDANT WAS ADVISED THAT HE WAS BEING CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF BURGLARY AND ONE COUNT OF GRAND THEFT. HE WAS GIVEN A TOTAL BOND OF $7,000.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. THE DEFENDANT'S WRITTEN STATEMENT WILL BE TURNED IN TO RECORDS LATER ON THIS DATE. *NOT-EXEMPT*
