| Comments: | According to official documents in 1997, subject PARRY sexually assaulted an unknown five year old boy. The boy's parents were homeless and they were temporarily staying with PARRY when the sexual assaults occurred. PARRY told the five year old boy not to tell his parents about the sexual assault(s) or he would hurt his parents. When contacted by law enforcement, PARRY admitted he sexually assaulted the boy on two occasions. PARRY was convicted of Rape of a Child in the 1st Degree. PARRY disclosed molests and rapes he committed while he was a juvenile. PARRY also disclosed as an adult he sexually touched an eight year old male and he sexually touched an eight month old girl over her diaper. PARRY was terminated from sex offender treatment while in custody and was resistant to the treatment process and consistently aggressive when challenged or asked to follow directions. PARRY is being supervised in the community by the Washington State Department of Corrections. PARRY has additional criminal convictions for Urinating in Public, Fail to Appear, Criminal Assault, Destruction of Property, and Theft in the 3rd Degree. In 2005 PARRY was referred to the Attorney General's Office for civil commitment consideration under RCW 71.09. After reviewing the case, the Attorney General's Office declined to seek civil commitment on PARRY. Due to PARRY's sexual criminal history, he has been classified as a LEVEL 3 Sex Offender and is considered a high risk to re-offend. This allows the Pierce County Sheriff's Department to disclose relevant, necessary, and accurate information to the public at large. |
