SUBMITTED BY: hughes, james 0500 (ar12124284) did, knowing HIS driver's license or driving privilege had been cancelled, suspended or revoked, drive a motor vehicle upon the highways of this state while such license or privilege was cancelled, in violation of Florida STATE Statute 322.34(2). on 010712 at APPROXIMATELY 2009 hours, i responded to the intersection of west homosassa trail and south SUNCOAST BOULEVARD in reference to ASSISTING K-9 deputy hryc, on a traffic stop. upon arrival, contact was made with k-9 deputy hyrc, who advised that he had performed a traffic stop on a 1995 chevROLET camAro in REFERENCE to an expired tag. he advised, upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, mr bradley provost (DEFENDANT), he had requested his DRIVER'S LICENSE, registration and proof of insurance. k-9 deputy hryc advised that mr provost had told him he did not have his driver's LICENSE IT had been taken away. he advised K-9 deputy hyrc, his DRIVER'S LICENSE had been suspended, and he knew he should not be driving. mr provost's information was run through "D.A.V.I.D.", which had provided the information that on 122911 his DRIVER'S LICENSE had been suspended for failure to pay a court obligation. the picture provided by "D.A.V.I.D." MATCHED MR PROVOST. at that time, i had made contact with mr provost, and advised him that he was being placed under arrest for driving on a suspended DRIVER'S LICENSE, at which time, he advised that he understood, and knew he should not be driving. mr provost was then handcuffed (DOUBLE LOCKED), AND PLACED in the rear of my patrol vehicle, and transported to THE citrus county DETENTION facility for processing and booking. mr provost'S vehicle was left at the scene per his request. he was also issued a FLORIDA UNIFORM TRAFFIC citation, nUMBER 6811-gqf-7, for AN expired tag, with a fine of $113.00 payable within 30 days. he was also issued A FLORIDA UNIFORM TRAFFIC citation, NUMBER 7300-gjx-7, for driving on a suspended DRIVER'S LICENSE with a mandatory court date of 012612 at 1300 HOURS. the DEFENDANT'S BOND WAS SET AT $500.00 per the BOND schedule. *NOT-EXEMPT* "IF YOU ARE A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY WHO NEEDS ANY ACCOMMODATION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROCEEDING, YOU ARE ENTITLED, AT NO COST TO YOU, TO THE PROVISION OF CERTAIN ASSISTANCE.
