| Comments: | In 2001 Escarcega pled guilty in Lewis County Juvenile Court to the crime of Rape 2nd Degree, Attempted Rape, and Indecent Liberties. The offenses involved the sexual assault of two 14-year-old girls when Escarcega was 16 years old. As a result of the conviction he was sentenced to 145 weeks in Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) custody. While being investigated for those crimes, other incidents came to the attention of authorities that had taken place in Thurston County. In 2001 Escarcega pled guilty in Thurston County Juvenile Court to two counts of Rape 2nd Degree. The offenses involved the sexual assault of two additional 14-year-old girls. As a result of those convictions he was sentenced to 104 weeks in JRA custody. He was released on 04/04/05 and is no longer on supervision for that offense. Escarcega has been identified as a clear risk to reoffend and this community notification is required. |
