SUBMITTED BY: DERA, MARK 0688 (AR10118569) DEFENDANT DID HAVE AN ACTIVE CITRUS COUNTY WARRANT, WARRANT NUMBER, WA10008847 , COURT CASE NUMBER, 2010-CT-002310001, IN REFERENCE TO, VIOLATION OF PROBATION, WITH THE ORIGINAL CHARGE OF PARTICIPATING IN UNLAWFUL RACE, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE, 948.06. ON 122610, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE DEFENDANT, BRANDON HIXSON, IN REFERENCE TO AN ACTIVE CITRUS COUNTY WARRANT. THE DEFENDANT'S IDENTITY WAS VERIFIED THROUGH CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION STAFF, AND THE WARRANT WAS CONFIRMED THROUGH THE CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WARRANTS DIVISION. AT THAT TIME, THE DEFENDANT WAS TURNED OVER TO THE DETENTION STAFF FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING, WHERE HIS BOND WAS SET AT PER THE WARRANT. AFFIANT HAD NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THIS CASE.
