| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to 101 Ponce De Leon Blvd. in reference to a battery. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated she was in an argument with her live-in boyfriend Calvin Carr. The argument became physical when Carr struck her in the face and kneed her in the stomach. She called 911 and he fled the scene. The victim was not seriously injured and refused medical treatment. The victim advised that Carr has battered her in the past. Officers later made contact with Carr who advised he did not batter the victim but could not explain why he fled the scene prior to our arrival. Carr was placed under arrest and charged with domestic battery. He is being held at the Hernando County Jail without bond. |
