| Narrative: | Officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to Walgreen's in reference to a theft. A witness had observed the defendant driving an electric cart from Publix to Walgreen's and knew that it belonged to Walmart. He then called police. When asked the defendant admitted that she had taken it from Walmart and used it to go to other stores. Contact was made with Walmart who advised that they wished to press charges for theft. They also advised that the cart has a value of $1,200. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail where she is held on $2,000 bond. An employee responded to Walgreen's and brought the electric cart back to Walmart. |
