Narrative: | On 08/29/2012 at approximately 2105 hours officers of the Brooksville Police Department were dispatched to the BREEZY OAKS MOBILE HOME PARK reference a carjacking. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim SAMUEL L. OXENREIDER who stated he was in the process of unloading his mother’s car (keys in the ignition) as an unknown black male in his mid 20’s, clean shaven, bald, wearing a button down shirt approached him on foot. The black male asked OXENREIDER if he was from around here. OXENREIDER did not respond and took out his cell phone to call 911. The black male punched OXENREIDER in the chest, got into the driver seat while another black male got into the vehicle on the passenger side and the two men drove off in his mother’s vehicle. On 8-30-2012 at approximately 1035 hours the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix was discovered abandoned at 969 Hale Ave. The vehicle was left unlocked parked in the grass. No arrests have been made. Owner was notified and she recovered the vehicle from the scene. |
