SUBMITTED BY: SETTLES, KATHERINE 0113 (AR13-5458) UNLAWFULLY ENDANGER THE SAFETY OF ANOTHER OR THEIR PROPERTY WHILE INTOXICATED OR DID WHILE INTOXICATED OR DRINKING AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN A PUBLIC PLACE CAUSE A PUBLIC DISTURBANCE, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE NUMBER 856.011; ON 050213, I RESPONDED TO THE BELL VILLA MOTEL, IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE. UPON MY ARRIVAL, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT, MR CHRISTOPHER CRAIG BOONE, WHO WAS EXTREMELY INTOXICATED. THE DEFENDANT THEN ADVISED ME THAT HE WAS VERY INTOXICATED. HE WAS UNSTEADY ON HIS FEET, AND HAD BLOODSHOT EYES WHICH WERE ONLY HALF OPEN, WAS SLURRING HIS SPEECH, AND HAD AN ODOR EMITTING FROM HIS PERSON WHICH WAS ASSOCIATED WITH AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. THE DEFENDANT HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ARGUMENT WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND, MS ASHLEY HAINES, AND MS HAINES HAD LEFT THEIR MOTEL ROOM, TO GO STAY AT A FRIENDâS ROOM. MS HAINES THEN WENT TO STAY WITH MS JESSICA HODGE-ACOSTA, WHO WAS IN ROOM 4. THE DEFENDANT THEN DECIDED SHORTLY AFTER THAT HE WANTED MS HAINES TO COME BACK TO THEIR ROOM, AND BEGAN BANGING ON ALL OF THE MOTEL ROOM DOORS, TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE SHE WAS. THE DEFENDANT FINALLY BEGAN BANGING ON THE DOOR OF ROOM 4, USING A FIRE EXTINGUISHER HE HAD RIPPED FROM THE WALL. MS HODGE-ACOSTA THEN FINALLY OPENED HER DOOR, AND THE DEFENDANT THEN BARGED IN TO THE ROOM, BEGINNING TO SWING AT MS HODGE-ACOSTA, YELLING THAT HE WANTED MS HAINES TO COME BACK TO THE MOTEL ROOM. MS HODGE-ACOSTA TOLD THE DEFENDANT THAT HE NEEDED TO LEAVE, AND THAT HER SMALL CHILD WAS ASLEEP, AND THAT HE WAS WAKING EVERYONE UP. THE DEFENDANT CONTINUED TO STATE, âJUST GO AHEAD AND TAKE ME TO JAIL;â BEFORE FINALLY LEAVING THE ROOM. I THEN ADVISED THE DEFENDANT THAT HE WAS BEING PLACED UNDER ARREST, FOR DISORDERLY INTOXICATION. HE WAS HANDCUFFED, DOUBLE LOCKED BEHIND HIS BACK, AND SECURED IN THE REAR OF MY PATROL VEHICLE. I THEN TRANSPORTED THE DEFENDANT TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. UPON ARRIVAL, HE WAS RELEASED TO DETENTION FACILITY STAFF, FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING. â THE DEFENDANT WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF DISORDERLY INTOXICATION, WITH HIS BOND SET AT $150.00, PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. |
