| Narrative: | On 10/01/2012 at approximately 1700 hours, Christopher Joseph Cox test drove a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup which was for sale at Paul Clark Enterprises. During the test drive Cox made arrangements to later purchase the vehicle. After the test drive, Cox left the dealership without returning the original ignition key, and later had a duplicate key made. After the business was closed, Cox returned to the dealership, returned the original key, and used the duplicate key to steal the truck. Cox drove the vehicle to his residence on Howell Ave, where he allegedly sold the vehicle to an unknown subject from Georgia. The vehicle has yet to be recovered. Cox was charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was issued a $2,000. Bond. |
