| Comments: | In 1990, Cory Roberts was convicted of Rape of a Child 1st Degree. According to official file documents, Roberts (age 13) sexually and physically assaulted a 3 year old non-familial female who suffered extensive injuries. In 1993, while in custody serving his sentence for the 1990 offense, Roberts was convicted of two counts of Rape 3rd Degree for sexually assaulting a 14 year old non-familial male and a 15 year old non-familial male, who were his roommates. Roberts has also admitted to sexually assaulting several other females both familial and non familial. Roberts had numerous parole violations while on parole and in 2002, he was detained at the Special Commitment Center for possible civil commitment. Roberts did not participate in sex offender treatment while at the Special Commitment Center. Roberts was not found to be a Sexually Violent Predator; therefore, the petition for civil commitment was dismissed and he was released from the Special Commitment Center on 6/16/14.
