| Comments: | According to official documents, in 1982 a 13 year old girl unknown to POUNCY accepted a ride from him at the Greyhound Station in Seattle. While in his vehicle POUNCY demanded to have sexual intercourse with her. She refused. He threatened to choke her to death if she did not comply, and began choking her. POUNCY then raped her. A witness to this incident called the police. The police responded and POUNCY was arrested. In 1983 a 19 year old woman unknown to POUNCY reported that she met him at McDonalds. He asked her for a date and she agreed. POUNCY picked her up the next day and took her to his residence. Inside his home she was approached from behind by POUNCY who was brandishing a knife. He threatened to kill her if she screamed. POUNCY forced the woman to take her clothes off, at knifepoint, and then forcibly raped her. POUNCY drove the woman home and threatened to kill her if she contacted the police. She called 911 and POUNCY was arrested. POUNCY plead guilty to First Degree Rape while Armed with a Deadly Weapon. In 1997 a 22 year old woman unknown to POUNCY was approached by him while she was walking down the street. They talked for a while and she invited him to her apartment. After talking for a while the woman said she was tired and asked POUNCY to leave. POUNCY suddenly became hostile and refused to leave. He then demanded that she give him oral sex. When she refused POUNCY threatened her with physical harm. POUNCY began sexually assaulting the woman. She kicked POUNCY in the groin and then escaped his attack by jumping out of her third story apartment window. She was not seriously hurt by the fall and she yelled for someone to call 911. POUNCY was located by the police nearby shirtless and scratched up. The victim identified him and he was arrested. This current notification is being done because POUNCY has been authorized to leave the Secure Commitment Center (SCC) on McNeil Island and reside at the Secure Community Transition Facility (SCTF) on McNeil Island which has less supervision. POUNCY will be escorted when he leaves his secure housing and is also on community supervision through the Department of Corrections (DOC). Due to POUNCY'S sexual criminal history he has been classified as a level 3 Sex Offender. |
