BURGESS drove the female victims onto Fort Lewis where he forced them to have sex with him. BURGESS would take the women to a remote area on Fort Lewis and then tell them he was going to rape them. One victim described how BURGESS pressed a handgun against her head during one of the sexual assaults and she also described how BURGESS was pointing the handgun at her while he directed her to take her clothes off. For these sexual assaults, BURGESS was originally charged with four counts of Knowingly Causing Another to Engage in a Sexual Act. BURGESS later pled guilty to one count of Knowingly Causing Another to Engage in a Sexual Act in U.S. District Court. BURGESS participated in a Sex Offender Treatment Program while incarcerated. Due to BURGESS'' sexual criminal history, he has been classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender. |
