| Comments: | BORSHEIM, David was recently released after serving a fifteen-month prison term. His current offense stems from a 1992 Pierce County conviction. In this current offense, Borsheim sexually assaulted a 12-year old relative, and exposed himself to her. On one occasion he gave the victim a prescription sleeping pill and waited for her to fall asleep. The victim awoke to find that she had been sexually assaulted. Borsheim admits to a long history of deviant behavior with numerous victims. Borsheim admits to fondling, molesting, and having intercourse with numerous female victims under the age of 18. When Borsheim was 22 years old, he engaged in mutual fondling and intercourse with a then 15-year-old whom he later married. He admitted that when he was between the ages of 28 and 39 he gave sleeping medication to at least 11 different female victims ranging in age from 9 to 39 years, sexually assaulting the victims after the medication took effect. The victim list included his wife, extended family members, relatives, and friends of his children. He also admits to hundreds of incidents of voyeurism. He has a long criminal history with convictions for possession of a controlled substance, burglary, theft, possession of stolen property, malicious mischief, criminal trespass, obstructing, and driving violations. In addition to those crimes listed, he has also had eight probation violations in the past. Borsheim was terminated from sexual deviancy treatment for having contact with minors and continued drug use. He declined to participate in the sex offender treatment program while incarcerated in 1993 and did not participate in sex offender treatment during this most recent incarceration. |
