| Comments: | On 04/06/04 Brosius was convicted in Lewis County Juvenile Court of two counts of Indecent Liberties by Forced Compulsion and two counts of Assault 4th Degree with Sexual Motivation. Additional sexual offenses were dropped as part of a plea agreement. The initial crimes involved Brosius making forced sexual advances towards a 13-year-old female who was not related to him. At the time of the crimes Brosius was 16-years-old. The crimes of Assault 4th Degree involved Brosius assaulting two different 14-year-old females by striking them on the buttocks with his hand. As part of a plea agreement he was sentenced to 104 weeks of confinement at the Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) with the sentence being suspended so he could complete sex offender treatment. The suspension was revoked based on his conviction on 06/15/04 for the offense of Unlawful Imprisonment with Sexual Motivation. This crime involved the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl who was known to him. Since becoming an adult he has been convicted of Robbery and Residential Burglary and was last released from prison on 08/06/08. Because of the multiple offenses and different victims, Brosius has been identified as a high risk to reoffend and this community notification is required. |
