| Comments: | According to official documents Murphy pled guilty in King County Superior Court on 11/04/2005 to one count of Dealing in Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct and one count of Possessing Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct. He was sentenced to 21 months and 12 months in prison to be served concurrently. This conviction was the result of Murphy posting images of child pornography through an online group. Through an investigation Murphy was identified and a subsequent search warrant found over 37000 photos and 450 movies that were child pornography on various types of storage media. Murphy has been involved in unlawful sexual conduct with minor and adult females for which he has never been convicted. Murphy did not participate in the sex offender treatment program while in prison as he would not have had time to complete the program. Murphy is not on active supervision at this time and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
