ON 011116, I RESPONDED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY LOCATED AT 2604 WEST WOODLAND RIDGE DRIVE, IN LECANTO, IN REFERENCE TO A BATTERY THAT HAD ALREADY OCCURRED. the VICTIMS, WHO ARE CORRECTIONS OFFICERS, WERE TRANSPORTING THE DEFENDANT, MR DAVID ROBERSON, TO SEGREGATION WHEN THE DEFENDANT BECAME PHYSICAL WITH THE CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS AT THE JAIL. THE DEFENDANT STRUCK VICTIM ONE IN THE ARM WITH HIS ELBOW. HE ALSO GRABBED VICTIM TWO BY THE HAND. THE VICTIMS HAD TO TAKE THE DEFENDANT TO THE GROUND AND HOLD HIM UNTIL HELP ARRIVED. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY PHYSICAL INVESTIGATION OF INJURIES AS WELL AS WITNESS TESTIMONY. CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE DEFENDANT WHO WAS ARRESTED FOR TWO COUNTS OF BATTERY ON LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH A COMBINED BOND OF $10,000.00. |
