Narrative: At 0705 hrs units were dispatched to a weapons disturbance at 235 Pryor St. The investigation revealed that the two defendants had gone to the residence to settle a drug deal gone bad. Stoddard broke the glass in the front door of the residence before going inside with Given. Stoddard threatened occupants with a knife once inside and then fled. He was located hiding in a trailer in the Oaks MHP. Given was located hiding in a wooded area off Broad St. Both men were transported to the Hernando County Jail. A records check revealed that Given was also on probation and was additionally charged with Violation of Probation. Given is held without bond due to his VOP and Stoddard is held on $25,000 bond.
