| Probable cause affidavit: | SUBMITTED BY: GUTCH, JAMES Prob0744 (AR07004273) ON 083006, THE DEFENDANT Appeared before the honorable richard howard to answer to the charge of passing a forged/ altered check, case number 2006-cf-000515. at the time of her appearance, she entered a plea of no contest, at which time she was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to three years in florida state prison (suspended) and received five years drug offender probation. on 083106, the offender was instructed on the orders of probation, by probation officer scotty scrivens. on 080307 at approximately 1530 hours, the citrus county sheriff's office notified the probation office that they came in contact with the defendant and another white male in the area of "chatmire," near a high drug activity area. this defendant appeared in a very drug induced state of mind. on 080307, this affiant began circulating the beverly hills area in an effort to locate the defendant for the purpose of arranging a drug test. during the search, this affiant located the defendant at the beverly hills motel. during contact with the defendant she provided untruthful information to her probation officer as follows. the defendant is in violation of condition number eight of the orders of probation in that on 080307 the defendant hysterically insisted repeatedly that she must leave citrus county immediately due to her brother "chris johnson" was just killed in a traffic crash in marion county. the defendant insisted that she was telling the truth ad her brother was dead and was still in the hospital facility. she remained adamant that her brother was just killed. during the investigation it was verified that her brother "chris johnson" was alive and well and there was no accident what so ever and the defendant provided untruthful information to the probation officer. *NOT-EXEMPT* |
