| Comments: | In 1996, Subject Dennis DUMAN was convicted of Child Molestation 1st Degree. DUMAN sexually assaulted a 6 year old female on at least two separate occasions. The victim was the daughter of parents who associated with DUMAN. DUMAN took the victim to a drive-in movie and had the victim sit on his lap. DUMAN then sexually fondled the victim. On another occasion, DUMAN became aroused while watching the victim wearing her bathing suit. DUMAN took the victim to his vehicle and pulled down her bathing suit and sexually fondled her and then told her not to tell anyone what happened. In 1992, DUMAN was convicted of Indecent Liberties. In that case, DUMAN sexually assaulted a female step-relative over a two year period of time. The victim was 5 years old when DUMAS started abusing her. DUMAN admitted that he had sexually abused the victim 7 days a week over this two year time period. The abuse included fondling and oral sex. DUMAN has also self reported that he has sexually abused at least 40 minor aged females in his past. The victims included both family and non-family victims. At one point DUMAN was considered for civil commitment as a Sexually Violent Predator. It does not appear that DUMAN has any other known criminal history at this time. DUMAN has participated in a community based Sex Offender Treatment Program in the past. DUMAN was viewed by his treatment team as being a high risk to re-offend. Due to DUMAN's sexual criminal history, he has been classified as a LEVEL 3 Sex Offender. |
