| Comments: | In 1993, Dennis Hopkins was convicted of Rape of a Child 1st Degree (3 Counts) in Lewis County. According to official file documents, from approximately July 1988 through September 1991 Hopkins (age 38 to 41) sadistically physically and sexually assaulted three familial children. The victims included a boy (age 2 to 5), a female (infant to 2) and a boy (age1 to 3). In addition, during approximately December of 1990 through December of 1991 Hopkins sexually assaulted another familial boy (age 12). During the investigation, a prior history of sexual offending was discovered. Additional sexual offending was disclosed during treatment. Hopkins participated in a Sex Offender Treatment Program while he was incarcerated. Due to his sexual criminal history, Hopkins has been classified a LEVEL 3 offender.
