Narrative: Brooksville Police Officers’ saw a blue Chevy pick up truck run the red light at N. Broad St and E. Jefferson St.. A traffic stop was done at E. Jefferson St. and Emerson Rd. Contact was made with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, DONALD G. REITER JR... When asked if the vehicle could be checked for illegal contraband, DONALD REITER gave permission. When DONALD REITER opened the driver’s door, he handed the officer an Altoids candy box containing marijuana and 2 plastic baggies containing marijuana. The marijuana weighed 12 grams. DONALD G. REIETR JR. was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana, less than 20 grams and transported to Hernando County Jail. His vehicle was towed to the Brooksville Police Department impound lot.
