SUBMITTED BY: MACIAS, JOSEPH 0756 (AR14-11209) (CASE 14-94261) DID UNLAWFULLY ENTER OR REMAIN IN A CERTAIN STRUCTURE OR CURTILAGE THEREOF, TO-WIT: VICTIM'S RESIDENCE, LOCATED AT 11615 E SALMON DRIVE, FLORAL CITY, IN THE COUNTY AND STATE AFORESAID, THE PROPERTY OF THE VICTIM, WITHOUT SAID PERSON'S CONSENT, WITH THE INTENT TO COMMIT AN OFFENSE THEREIN, TO-WIT: GRAND THEFT, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATUTE 810.02(1) AND 810.02(3)(B); DID UNLAWFULLY AND KNOWINGLY OBTAIN, USE OR ENDEAVOR TO OBTAIN OR USE THE PROPERTY OF THE VICTIM, TO-WIT: CASH OF THE VALUE OF THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) OR MORE, BUT LESS THAN FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00), TO WIT: $400.00 CASH WITH THE INTENT TO EITHER TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE THE VICTIM OF A RIGHT TO THE PROPERTY OR A BENEFIT THEREOF, OR DID APPROPRIATE THE SAID PROPERTY TO HIS OWN USE OR THE USE OF ANY PERSON NOT ENTITLED THERETO, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATUTES 812.014(2)C(1). ON 070914, IT WAS REPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE THAT A BURGLARY AND GRAND THEFT HAD OCCURRED AT 11615 EAST SALMON DRIVE IN FLORAL CITY, IN CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA. THIS INCIDENT WAS DOCUMENTED IN OFFENSE REPORT 2014-94261. DURING THE BURGLARY THE SUSPECT STOLE $400.00 IN U S CURRENCY. DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF THIS CASE DEPUTY MOORE WAS ABLE TO REVIEW SURVEILLANCE VIDEO AT THE SCENE, WHERE THE SUSPECT, IDENTIFIED BY THE VICTIMS AS DEFENDANT, MS DONNA FARRELL, DID ENTER THE PROPERTY ON THIS DAY IN QUESTION. THE DEFENDANT WAS SEEN ENTERING THE PROPERTY WHILE THE VICTIMS WERE GONE FROM THE HOME AND THEN LEAVE BEFORE THEY RETURNED. IT WAS AT THIS TIME THAT THE MONEY WAS NOTICED TO BE MISSING. ON 071614, AT APPROXIMATELY 1130 HOURS, I RESPONDED TO 11649 EAST SALMON DRIVE IN FLORAL CITY, IN REFERENCE TO LOCATING THE DEFENDANT, MS DONNA FARRELL. UPON MY ARRIVAL I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT'S HUSBAND, WHO STATED THAT THE DEFENDANT WAS IN THE HOUSE. I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT, MS DONNA FARRELL, AND PLACED HER UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED HER BEHIND HER BACK DOUBLE LOCKED, AND PLACED HER IN THE REAR SEAT OF MY PATROL VEHICLE. THE DEFENDANT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING, WHERE HER BOND WAS SET AT TOTAL BOND FOR THE TWO CHARGES OF $7,000.00, PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. |
