ON 083007 AT APPROXIMATELY 0900 HOURS, THE DEFENDANT, MR DONOVAN COULTER ATTACHED A JUMPER CABLE AND A BICYCLE ACCESSORY TO A SERIES OF MARINE BATTERIES IN A MANNER WHICH CAUSED A FIRE IN A BATTERY DISPLAY SHELF. THE RESULT OF THE FIRE AND SMOKE CAUSED A RESPONSE BY THE CITRUS COUNTY FIRE RESCUE. AS A RESULT OF INVESTIGATION BY THE FLORIDA STATE FIRE MARSHALL's OFFICE, THE DEFENDANT ADMITTED TO THe CRIME OF ARSON IN THE FIRST DEGREE. THERE WERE 44 wal-mart ASSOCIATES WORKING IN THe WAL-MART AT THE TIME OF the FIRE AS VERIFIED BY THE FIRE MARSHALL AND WAL-MART MANAGER. see STATE FIRE marshall's office, CASE NUMBER 47-07-3006. 092607, I MADE CONTACT WITH STATE FIRE MARSHALL investigators AT THE DEFENDANT'S RESIDENCE. UPON MAKING CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT HE WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE-LOCKED) BEHIND HIS BACK AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. WHILE BEING TRANSPORTED to the detention facility THE DEFENDANT SPONTANEOUSLY STATED THaT HE DID NOT REALIZE HE WAS GOING TO GET CAUGHT. HE ALSO ADVISED THAT HE WHEN HE HOOKED UP THE JUMPERS CABLES TO THE BATTERY NOTHING HAD HAPPENED, THEREFORE HE WALKED AWAY NOT noticing THE RESULTS OF HIS ACTIONS. *NOT-EXEMPT* |
