| Comments: | According to official documents, in October of 1987, Moore had met his 19-year-old victim on a city bus. Moore offered to walk the victim home and the victim agreed. One-week later Moore and another male friend arrived at the victim's home uninvited. The victim let them into her home and noted the smell of intoxicants. Moore walked into the victim's bedroom, with the victim following him, as she was unsure of what he was doing. Moore then shoved the victim backward onto the bed and sexually assaulted her. Moore was given a term of 6 months in jail and 24 months community supervision. On June 12, 1989, while still on active supervision for the 1987 rape, Moore met a 32-year-old female at an Everett cocktail lounge. The victim's girlfriend invited Moore and two other male friends to join them at a table. The victim did not know Moore. The victim's friend invited the three men to join herself and the victim at her home to shoot pool. The victim went from the pool-room to the upper level of the house to get something to eat. Moore followed the victim and requested that the victim lie with him on the couch. The victim declined stating that she had a boyfriend. Moore then used physical force to overcome the victim and raped her. Moore was arrested the next day. Moore was given a term of 34 months in prison on November 26, 1991 with credit for time served in the county jail while awaiting trial. Moore was released from prison on January 21, 1992 and has registered as a sex offender as required. Moore did not attend sexual deviancy treatment while in prison. However, he did complete a substance abuse class. |
