| Narrative: | Officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to the Lakeside MHP in reference to a disturbance. The defendant had been arguing with another resident over a cell phone battery. Both parties had been drinking and neighbors had come out to see what was going on. He was questioned about the battery and admitted to taking it then throwing it in the lake. When officers attempted to take him into custody he pulled away and became combative. After a brief scuffle with officers he was taken into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail. He is held on $750 bond. |
