| Reason: | Shortly after midnight, on Sunday, 09/16/12, Sheriffs Deputies responded to the Ashland Village Apartment complex, in unincorporated San Leandro, regarding a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, Sheriffs Deputies discovered a 25 year-old male inside his apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. During the course of the subsequent investigation, Detectives identified 18 year-old Hugo Viveros and then 17 year-old Edward Allen (now 18 years-old), both of San Leandro, as suspects in the murder. Investigators have obtained no bail arrest warrants for Viveros and Allen in connection with the murder. The whereabouts of Viveros and Allen are unknown, but investigators believe they may still be together. |
