| Narrative: | The suspect, Edward Cline Jr, entered Walmart around midnight on 07/23/12, entered the jewelry department and forced open jewelry display cases. Once open, he removed 24 chains, rings, and earrings, valued at $882. He fled the store without paying and left in a white 2 door vehicle. Detectives from the Brooksville Police Department, with the assistance of the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, determined his identity and took him in to custody where he was booked in to the Hernando County Jail on $2,000 bond. During an interview, Cline admitted the offense, telling Detectives he needed money. |
