Probable cause affidavit: | submitted by: BYRD, TRAVIS SPO (AR22804) Violation of Condition (5) of the Order of Probation, by failing to live without violating any law, and as grounds for belief that the offender violated his probation, Officer T Byrd states that on or about 022517, the offender was in possession of a drug or narcotic not prescribed to him by a physician, to wit: a bag of Marijuana, drug paraphernalia (glass pipes for smoking) and small baggies with white residue that the offender admitted had been used for the transportation of methamphetamine, as shown by the evidence collected by Officer T Byrd at the offenderâs residence of 9306 EAST Gospel Island ROAD, Inverness, FLORIDA 34450 during a walkthrough of the residence and transported by Citrus County Sherriffâs Deputy DeMarco to the Citrus County Detention Center. Violation of Condition (9) of the Order of Probation, by failing to allow his officer to visit in his home, or elsewhere, and as grounds for belief that the offender violated his probation, Officer T Byrd states that on 022517, the offender attempted to elude Officer T Byrd by hiding in a closet in his motherâs room after the officer was given admittance to the residence by the offenderâs mother at 9306 EAST Gospel Island ROAd, Inverness, FLORIDA 34450 at around 1500 HOURS. After informing the offenderâs mother that Officer Byrd needed to perform a home verification for the offender, the offenderâs mother took Officer Byrd to the offenderâs room where the television was playing and the offenderâs personals were in plain view (wallet, keys, ect). After discovering narcotics in the offenderâs room in plain view, the offenderâs mother eventually took Officer Byrd to the offenderâs hiding place where the offender was instructed to show himself. The offender turned very frantic and was showing signs of behavioral instability. At thAT time Officer Byrd placed the offender in handcuff restraints to ensure officer safety (double locked), and called Probation Supervisor Vowels to gain permission to conduct a probable cause arrest. After gaining permission from Probation Supervisor Vowels, Officer T Byrd called the Citrus County Sherriffâs Office for a jail transport.
