| Narrative: | The Brooksville Police Department Patrol Division reports that a unit responded to 385 Union St Apt 15 in reference to a DCF assist. During the investigation it was found that Eric Johnson and his live-in girlfriend had gotten into a verbal argument on the morning of 03/21/2013. During the argument Johnson struck the victim with a belt and kicked her. The victim did have bruises that backed her statement. Contact was made with Johnson at the Oaks Motel where he was taken into custody for Domestic battery (second offence). It was also found that Johnson was on felony probation at the time for domestic battery by strangulation. Johnson was held at the Hernando County Jail under a no bond status for domestic battery and violation of probation. |
