| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Stewart pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 09/17/2002 to one count of Attempted Communication With a Minor for Immoral Purposes. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 215 days credit for time served. This conviction was the result of Stewart attempting to sexually assault the known 14 year old female victim. Stewart was intoxicated and sleeping in his car in front of the victim's residence. The rest of the family was leaving and told Stewart to stay in his car and not go in the house. The victim became afraid of being alone and asked Stewart to come inside the residence. Once inside, Stewart asked the victim to have sex with him. She told him no and Stewart became physical trying to push her upstairs. Stewart reached out to grab one of the victim's breasts but she was able to avoid his reach. On 05/11/1994 Stewart pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court to one count of Indecent Liberties with Forcible Compulsion. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Stewart sexually assaulting the known 17 year old female victim. The victim accepted a ride home from Stewart. While driving her home Stewart told her that he needed to stop by his residence. Once there Stewart asked the victim to have sex with him. When she declined he forced her into his bedroom and attacked her. During the sexual assault the victim struggled with Stewart and was able to escape. Stewart's most recent conviction is for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Marysville Field Office (360)658-2150, for a period of 36 months and has the following conditions: Do not consume alcohol Do not consume controlled substance except pursuant to lawfully issued prescriptions Do not purchase, own, or have in your possession or under your control any firearm or deadly weapon Enter into and successfully complete certified chemical dependency treatment Maintain lawful employment and provide proof of employment to DOC staff as directed Notify CCO upon receipt of a prescription for controlled substances Obey all Municipal, County, State, Tribal and Federal laws. Pay cost of supervision fees to DOC as directed by CCO Register with Sheriff's Office in the county of residence as required Report to and be available for contact with assigned CCO as directed Shall reside at a location and under living arrangement as approved by CCO |
