ON 111211, I WAS TRAVELLING ON HIGHWAY 19 IN THE AREA OF NORTH CITRUS AVENUE WHEN DEPUTY NOCELLA ADVISED ME THAT MR FORREST HAAG HAD JUST DRIVEN PAST HIM. HE STATED THAT HE KNOWS THAT MR HAAG'S LICENSE IS SUSPENDED. I LOOKED UP IN "DAVID" AND IT DID SHOW THAT HIS LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED. ON 081211 A NOTICE WAS GIVEN IN REFERENCE TO FINANCIAL REASONS. THE VEHICLE WAS COMING AT ME, AT WHICH TIME, I INITIATED A TRAFFIC STOP BECAUSE I COULD SEE MR HAAG DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE PULLED INTO THE CHEVRON GAS STATION ON HIGHWAY 19. MR HAAG JUMPED OUT THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I ADVISED HIM THAT I NEEDED TO SEE HIS LICENSE. HE STATED, "WHAT DID I DO?" I ADVISED HIM HE HAS A SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE. HE THEN HANDED ME HIS FLORIDA DRIVER'S LICENSE. AN NCIC/FCIC CHECK REVEALED THAT IT WAS DEFINITELY SUSPENDED FOR FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY . IT ALSO STATED THAT FLORIDA AUTHORITIES SEIZE TAG IF DRIVER WAS THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE, WHICH MR HAAG WAS DRIVING HIS OWN VEHICLE. I PLACED MR HAAG UNDER ARREST FOR DRIVING UNDER SUSPENDED LICENSE. I SEIZED HIS TAG. NCIC/FCIC ALSO ADVISED HE IS ON ACTIVE FELONY PROBATION AND THAT HE IS A VIOLENT FELONY OFFENDER. I HANDCUFFED MR HAAG (DOUBLE LOCKED) AND TRANSPORTED HIM TO THE CITRUS COUNTY JAIL. UPON MY ARRIVAL AT THE JAIL, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE AFTER HOURS PROBATION LINE AND SPOKE WITH OFFICER MILLER, WHO ADVISED ME THAT HE IS ON ACTIVE FELONY PROBATION AND THAT NEW VIOLATION LAW HAD OCCURRED DUE TO HIM BEING ARRESTED. OFFICER MILLER ADVISED TO VIOLATE HIS PROBATION, WHICH I DID. THE TAG WILL BE TURNED IN TO THE TAG OFFICE IN REFERENCE TO IT BEING SEIZED.
