| Narrative: | On 04/23/2012 Brooksville Police Officer’s responded to 657 S. Broad St., in reference to a burglary. Investigation found that unknown person(s) had smashed a window on the business. While entering through the window the person received a cut depositing blood on the window. While the person was in the business a computer CPU, monitor and printer were stolen. The blood on the window was recovered and sent to FDLE LAB for DNA match. On 7/11/2012 the FDLE LAB report was received identifying the suspect to the burglary as GERALD D. WHITMAN. On 07/12/2012, GERALD D. WHITMAN was located and interviewed where he admitted to the burglary. GERALD D. WHITMAN was placed under arrest and transported to Hernando County Jail where he was charged and held on bond. |
