| Details: | Gilberto GARCIA is a member of the Texas Mexican Mafia gang with ties to Corpus Christi, Texas, and other areas of the Texas Coastal Bend . He has a violent criminal history, including past felony convictions for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of Metal or Body Armor by a Felon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Since 2004, GARCIA has served time in TDCJ prison on multiple occasions. He was paroled from TDCJ in January 2013 and discharged in February 2014. On December 27, 2014, a 51-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds after his car crashed into a house in Corpus Christi. The victim died from the gunshot wounds. Two other men, who are believed to have been passengers in the same car, were found nearby with gunshot wounds, but both men are expected to survive. GARCIA was subsequently developed as a suspect in the shootings of all three men. On December 29, 2014, the Nueces County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for GARCIA's arrest for Murder and Aggravated Assault. Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward for information leading to GARCIA's arrest. |
