Hemminger who was a runaway was allowed to stay in a trailer during this time. He molested a 6 year old female. Hemminger was arrested and admitted to his crime. Hemminger attended sex offender treatment during his term at the institution, but due to his behavior he had not completed this treatment and will enter treatment while in the community.
