| Comments: | In 1998 Gregory Wright forcibly sexually assaulted two females, age 13 and 14. Wright threatened the 13 year-old with a knife before the assault. During the second assault Wright threatened and choked the 14-year-old female. Wright was originally charged with two counts of Indecent Liberties and one count of Attempted Rape 2nd Degree, however, he pled guilty to 2nd Degree Assault with Sexual Motivation and 4th degree Assault. In 2000, Wright was charged with a probation violation by having sexual contact with another 14-year-old female. On April 14th, 2006, Wright pled guilty to 2 counts of Attempted Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes. Reports indicated that between February 2005 and March 2005, Wright became sexually involved with a known 15 year old female. Gregory Wright was recently released from Washington Corrections Center where he was being held on a Failure to Register conviction. He is currently registered with the Clark County Sheriff`s office as homeless. He will be monitored by the Department of Corrections, the Vancouver Police Sex Offender Tracking Unit and the Clark County Sex Offender Registration Unit. |
