| Comments: | According to official documents Pitcock pled guilty in Pierce County Superior Court on 10/02/1996 to five counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor with Sexual Motivation, three counts of Possession of Depictions of Minor Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct, two counts of Patronizing a Juvenile Prostitute with Sexual Motivation, and one count of Indecent Liberties. He was sentenced to concurrent sentences 0f 209 months in prison. These convictions were the result of Pitcock sexually assaulting at least eight male victims, ages from 12 to 17 years old. Pitcock met many of his victims while he was employed as a social worker with the Washington Department of Social and Health Services. He used this position of authority both, to gain access to victims, and to sexually assault them. After allegations of sexual abuse came up a search warrant was served at Pitcock's apartment and approximately 350 sexually explicit Polaroid photographs were found. Some of those photos were later identified as being of individuals under the age of 18. Evidence found during the search warrant and later admissions by Pitcock indicated that he would travel outside of the United States for the purpose of sexually assaulting young males. Pitcock completed the sex offender treatment program while in prison. Pitcock is not on active supervision at this time and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
