| Comments: | Irvin Babe LYLE was convicted of RAPE 1 in King County in 1990. According to official documents, LYLE contacted the 24-year-old female victim as she was walking home from a tavern. He asked to walk with her so she would be safe. They stopped by his apartment so he could get his jacket. LYLE went into his bedroom while the victim waited for several minutes then left and walked alone. LYLE caught up to her and asked why she had left. She said she had to get home to her husband. LYLE stopped to urinate, while the victim turned her back. LYLE then grabbed her from behind and dragged her into the bushes. He told her he had a knife and was going to kill her. He started slapping and hitting the victim, then ripped her clothes off and sexually assaulted her. During the attack, he told her not to look at him. He then choked, hit, and slapped the victim repeatedly. When LYLE tried to change positions, the victim ran naked into the street. LYLE caught her, grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back across the street, into the bushes. LYLE continued to assault her as she screamed and tried to get away. A concerned citizen heard her screams and called police. The victim broke free and ran to the officers. LYLE was arrested at the scene. LYLE has criminal history for: BURGLARY 2, ATTEMPTED BURGLARY 2, FORGERY, PSP 2, FORGERY 3 COUNTS. LYLE refused to participate in sexual deviancy treatment. LYLE has been classified a LEVEL 3 (high risk) sex offender. |
