| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Calderwood was convicted of the crime of Child Molestation in the 3rd degree and Failure to Register as a sex offender. The victim in this crime was a 9 year old boy whom was molested several times over a period of one year. Calderwood bought his victim gifts and invited him to spend the night. He was given a term of 60 months in prison, for the Child Molestation and 12 months for his Failure to Register that ran concurrent. On 1-5-1990 Calderwood pled guilty to the crimes of Rape of a Child 3rd degree and Child Molestation in the 2nd degree. He was given a term of 23 months in prison. Calderwood enlisted the help of a 13 year old boy to help him move into an apartment. This victim spent the night and eventually moved into the apartment. Calderwood sexually assaulted this victim. An 11 year old boy ran away from home and eventually came to live with Calderwood in a trailer home. While at this residence the victim would sleep in the same bed as Calderwood. Calderwood took the victim's hand and placed it on top of his privates. On 7-18-1985 Calderwood was Convicted of the crime of Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes and was given a term of 150 days confinement. Little is known to this Detective as to the details of the crime, except that Calderwood states that he was talking to a boy about sex. On 2-2-1979, Calderwood pled guilty to the crime of Sodomy in the First Degree in Clackamas County, Oregon. The victims in this crime were ages 7 and 9, both known to him. Calderwood forced the boys to masturbate him. Calderwood was admitted to the Special Commitment Center on 4-3-2001 and civilly committed as a sexually violent predator on 11-13-2003. On 10-11-2011 it was determined that Calderwood no longer met the definition of being a sexually violent predator {who} is more likely than not at risk to reoffending in the community and was released to the community.
