| Comments: | According to official documents, Rhodes was found guilty by jury trial and sentenced on October 12, 1992, to 68 months in prison for the Crime of Rape of a Child in the 1st degree and Child Molestation 1st degree. The victim in this crime was 9 years old and had gone to a friend's home and was met at the door by Rhodes, who told the victim to wait a minute. When Rhodes returned, he grabbed the victim and assaulted her. During the assault Rhodes had placed his hand over the victims mouth so that she could not scream. The assault lasted one-half hour. Rhodes told the victim after the assault that if she told anyone he would kill her. Rhodes was released from prison on January 24, 1998. Rhodes has no conditions as he is no longer on supervision. Rhodes also has convictions for Possession of Stolen credit cards, Assault 1st Degree, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest. Rhodes declined Sex Offender Treatment while in prison. |
