| Comments: | Documentation shows Ross was convicted of Statutory Rape 3rd Degree in Lewis County Superior Court in 1978. The crime involved him having sexual contact with a known 15-year-old female when he was 29 years old. As a result of that conviction he was sentenced to 60 months in prison. In 1986 Ross was found guilty by jury trial for the offense of Statutory Rape 1st Degree in Lewis County Superior Court. The crime involved him having sexual contact with a known 9-year-old female when he was 37 years old. He was sentenced to 46 months in prison. In 1994 Ross was found guilty by plea agreement for the crime of Child Molestation 1st Degree in Cowlitz County Superior Court. The crime involved the sexual assault of a known 11-year-old female. As a result of that conviction he was sentenced to 126 months in prison. He was released from prison on 04/22/04 and is no longer on DOC supervision. There is no documentation to support he completed any sex offender treatment. Based on the continued criminal behavior of Ross it is clear he is a threat to this community and this notification is required. |
