| Comments: | According to official documents, Joaquin pled guilty to Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Five County of Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes in October of 2004. He was given 41 months in prison which was suspended on condition that he serve 8 months in jail and serve 33 months of active supervision. During his supervision he was required to attend and complete sex offender treatment which he has done. In June of 2008 he was discharged from Supervision. The victims in his crimes were five males between the ages of 12 and 14 who were either riding their bicycles or walking when approached by Joaquin who was in a vehicle. Joaquin offered his victims rides and money to have sexual contact with these victims. All of these victims fled from Joaquin and reported the crimes to the police. The next victim was a 14 year old female who was waiting at a bus stop when Joaquin walked past this victim and later returned in a vehicle making comments to this victim that she was sexy and asked her if she wanted to make some money. Joaquin eventually left and this victim reported the crime to the police. All of the crimes were in the early evening hours and happen during the work week and not on weekends. Joaquin is no longer on supervision and his only requirements are to register. |
